Which superhero are you? What are your superpowers? ~ Offered in the Summer of 2026 and the Fall/Winter of 2026-2027 ~

Learn to develop your superpowers!

  • Three 90-minute skills, goals, and support groups meeting in the Summer of 2026 and starting again in the Fall-2026 and Winter-Spring 2027
  • Each group meets for 12 consecutive weeks.
  • The groups will include a weekly theme with prompts, resources, and optional worksheets and templates.
  • These groups can be tailored to your organization or group in the form of a workshop or shorter series.

Facilitator: Irene Greene, MSED (she/her, Lesbian), is an experienced national trainer and group facilitator. She has developed and facilitated dozens of groups in the past several years.

A Lesbian Queer Sapphic Superheroes’ Healing Trauma Support Group

Our superpowers got us through.

For lesbian, queer, and sapphic adults who have endured sexual, psychological, or physical abuse, emotional neglect, and/or oppression trauma at any time in their life, ARE currently or recently in regular individual therapy, coaching, or a related healing modality, AND hold a socially conscious and progressive framework.
 
Topics: What are your queer superhero powers? Trauma healing goals, personal strengths, assessing your resilience, identifying and managing triggers, emotional regulation skills, self-care, soothing strategies, building self-confidence, identifying your PTSD symptoms and healthy and unhealthy coping strategies, reducing shame and blame, and building empowerment and assertiveness skills.
 
The group also discusses, through a queer lens, the current social-political increase of oppression and fascism and its similarities to each person’s abuse experiences and triggers.
The fee is $60/session for 12 weeks. Two adjusted fee slots are available.

Self-expression as a superpower.

A creativity support group for progressive and radical activists, comrades, and kindreds to slow down, rest, share your experiences and stories of The Resistance and the occupation, assess your burnout and resilience, and fortify for what’s next.
You will have the opportunity to use any form of creative expression to convey the impacts of the Political Trauma Stress (PTS) on yourself, your loved ones, and community.
 
No prior artistic or creative experience is needed. Options: doodling, finger painting, collage, writing, music, oil painting, scribbling, etc.
 
Whimsy, heartbreak, humor, tears, rage, and hopefulness are all welcome here.
 
This group will provide a soft-landing space for its members to share their tragic and inspiring memories, stories, and experiences of the past intense months of the Occupation and the ongoing kidnappings and collective trauma.
You will be invited to reflect on what you are learning during this rise of fascism, talk about the hard times and the toll it took during the height of the occupation, and discuss who and what kept you moving your resistance efforts forward, as well as who deserves acknowledgment and celebration (including yourself). The fee is $60/session for 12 weeks. Two adjusted fee slots are available.

Lesbian Queer Sapphic Coming Out Support Group 

It takes bravery and strength to be our true selves.

The topics include exploring and adjusting to the “new” identities that accompany the personal and public shift toward being more “out” to oneself and others; getting support; self-care when facing rejection; divorce and children; conflict management and communication; and problem-solving and decision-making strategies.

The next group starts in October 2026. This is a 12-week virtual group that meets on Zoom. The group combines support, coaching, learning, and sharing. The group’s format includes weekly themes, a resource packet, and optional homework.

The fee is $60/session for 12 weeks. Two adjusted fee slots are available. One optional 50-minute coaching session (for 1/2 of the typical $205 fee) is included with your group membership.
